Chapter One

Sakura lay on her bed thinking about Sasuke.
Inner: I wonder wat Sasuke is doing.
Sakura: No I don’t, he left its time to move on.
After those thoughts she rolled over and looked at the moon.
*****In Suna*****
Gaara looks at the moon thinking of the pink haired girl he saw at the Chuunin exams. She was protecting those people, Uchiha Sasuke and Uzumaki Naruto. He was used to not sleeping even without the sand demon he was still somewhat normal. ~ Gaara’s thoughts~ I am nothing but a monster. How can I show the people around me that I have changed? I want for Sakura to see and know that I have changed. I shall ask Temari in the morning. ~ As he stared at the moon he saw Sakura’s green eyes and white smile. ~what is this feeling I feel for her. I see her everywhere? ~
***Next day****

“Kazekage you have a visitor from the Leaf Village.”


“Send her in.”
Sakura walked in and bowed. “Hello Kazekage.”  She had never seen him so handsome *Inner Sakura:
OMG HE’S HOT CHA.* Sakura just smiled and looked at Gaara.
“Please call me Gaara.”
“Okay Gaara-Kun” she blushed
*What is this feeling? Why am I blushing I don’t have feelings for Gaara. He is the Kazekage.*
There if she wasn’t looking so hard at him she would have missed it. It was beautiful. “Gaara-Kun are you smiling?” she giggled. It surprised her she wasn’t afraid of him. He was surprised she wasn’t afraid of him.
“…”
The smile stayed for a few more seconds until….
Kankurou walked in to the office and caught the last glimpse of his smile. _Kankurou’s thoughts_ how did she get him to smile?!_thougts end_
Surprised Kankurou looked at Sakura. “Kankurou you remember Sakura.”
Hellos were exchanged and Temari walked in. “Hey Sakura how are you and everyone in Konoha?” She hugged Sakura.
“*giggled *Hey Temari . . . Everyone is fine especially Shikamaru.” Temari blushed.  Everyone turned to Gaara. Just as they turned Kankurou whispered in to Tamari’s ear. “When I walked in Gaara was smiling. Only it was a faint smile.”  Temari looked at Sakura in wonder. Gaara picked up on the looks before Sakura could and he stood up and walked to the window. “Sakura is here to assist us with our medical needs she has been trained under Hokage Tsunade. She will begin tomorrow and she will be staying here in the mansion with us.” He turned to see Sakura smiling. ”What is it Sakura?” he asked
“Oh...” she looked down.  Temari whispered into her ear. “You must be very special he never lets anyone stay here with us.” Temari then thought twice.*wait a minute there are no spare rooms unless she is staying in the one beside his room.* She quickly turned to Gaara. “Where will she sleep? All the rooms on our floor are occupied.” Gaara turned and his face had been emotionless since Kankurou walked in. “She will sleep in the room next to mine. Sakura I want you to clean up and get some rest you had a long journey here.” She nodded and left the room. The three siblings stood in the room.
Gaara’s mind was drifting as he looked out the window.
“Gaara do you and Sakura have a thing together?” Temari asked as she quickly erased the pictures of herself and Shikamaru.
“No we do not have a thing” his voice was cold and his face was emotionless. Temari knew something was different about Gaara but she couldn’t place her fingers on it.
“Gaara.. I am going to go help Sakura.” As Kankurou turned sand closed the door. “Leave her alone.” He demanded. “Temari Can I talk to you when Kankurou leaves?” His Baby blue eyes were glistening and were soft like when he looked at Sakura. “I won’t touch her. Kankurou walked out the room. “What’s wrong Gaara?” Temari was puzzled because Gaara was acting so strange.
